To reduce hazardous products in your kitchen, you need to think before you buy so many products. The manufacturers would have you believe that you need cleaners for your floor, for your work tops, and for your windows. You need stain removers, antiseptics, antibacterials and bleaches, not to mention toilet cleaners and bathroom sprays. We have already reached nine different products without including a comprehensive list.
The point here is that all these products are hazardous in some way. The emit fumes, pollute the environment and pose a threat to children and pets. You can easily cut down on the number of different products you buy.
Use hydrogen peroxide in place of bleach. it can be used for everything from washing fruit and vegetables, to bleaches stains out of you favorite white table cloth.
Use vinegar in place of dishwasher cleaner, microwave cleaner, window cleaner and carpet shampoo.
Take an orange and use it instead of using a caustic oven cleaner.
There are many safe ways to clean your kitchen without putting yourself, or your family at risk. Use natural ways of cleaning your kitchen and cut down on hazardous products in your kitchen.
