I went to look at a rented property the other day and it was perfect for me and my family apart from the kitchen being small. The layout of downstairs is : you walk through the front door into a room that is a decent size, then into another room which is much bigger, then the kitchen. The lady who lives there now has the first room as a dining room, the middle room as the living room (probably because it is the bigger of the two), but this means that her fridge is in her living room because it wont fit in the kitchen.
