How Do You End A White Walled Kitchen Cabinet To Start With A Different Color Continuing On The Same Wall?

The kitchen has white walls and cabinets with berry counter tops.The wall runs into the living room and want to paint a pale grey. How do I transition from the white to the grey?

Use a piece of trim running from floor to ceiling. Paint the trim a different color than the walls to make it stand out more.
a wide strip of masking tape will give you a straight edge to paint. Just be sure to use a level to get the tape straight.
