What Can I Use To Remove Stains From Plastic Kitchen Cabinet Drawers?

I have plastic kitchen cabinet drawers that are stained with a dark brown substance (appears to be wood stain). I’ve tried general household and kitchen cleaners. Can you suggest something that might work?

There’s a product called goof-off (sold at home depot or lowes) that might work. It’s made for removing dried paint (or stain?). It’s strong stuff so try it on a small area first, just in case it melts the face of your plastic cabinets.
