Although I clean my kitchen floor daily, sometimes with Clorox Cleanup & sometimes using white vinegar & water, over the years, the grout has turned black. How do I get it back to it’s original light beige color?

Mix 3 cups of baking soda with 1 cup warm water. Scrub grout with a brush and rinse.
The best and most efficient way is to go to Low es or home Depot Etc And purchase a color restorer for grout. You can paint it on or some brands go on like shoe polish. After you apply the color you can seal it in a few days later. Its great I have used it many times.
The way to go now is to remove the grout, regrout and then use penetrating sealer on it to keep it from staining again. You can buy a tool at a home center that his little carbide teeth that you can remove about a quarter of an inch of grout with. Grout in any color can also be purchased there. You will need a rubber grout trowel to push the new grout in with and a grout sponge to clean the excess off and a towel to get up the haze. Sprayl lightly with water a couple times a day for three days until cured and then put down a solvent based penetrating sealer such a Impregnator 511. Should clean easily and not stain except in the worst circumstances.
I must say removing the grout is not the answer.
Grout can be color sealed using products designed to restore grout back to the original color and stain proof it all in one application.
The other benefit of color sealing your grout is that you can restore your grout back to any color you’d like and then be able to keep it clean for years to come. Apart from cracked or chipped tiles, your floor will look new again.
Clear penetrating sealers only provide stain resistance and do not make the grout easy to clean with normal maintenance.
