Hi
I am fitting a new kitchen i have light coloured wood units and a dark slate worktop. The rest of the kitchen will be white.
What color of floor tiles would best match and look good in the kitchen.
Thanks
P.S. I am terrible with design.

Have you thought about a neutral color? This way you can change colors in your kitchen when you like, if you lock yourself into something with a lot of color or something dark then you are stuck with it. Add things like a nice sized Rug, canister set, candles, baskets, your towels and pot holders to bring in your splash of color. Decorative place mats and a center piece for your table adds warmth to any kitchen. A large jar full of artificial lemons or limes placed on the counter always adds a nice touch.
Go for darker tiles, there are many blue/grey shades that will go with the slate. Dark floors make a room feel grounded and secure. They DO NOT make a room look smaller.
