White Vinegar and Water is a Perfect Solution to a Better Kitchen

Kitchens are notorious for those gnats and ants. White vinegar is the best solution to the problem. It is a solution of half part water and half part vinegar that will do the trick to get rid of those nasty insect pests.

The first step is to buy a bottle of vinegar and do some cooking with it. Simply find recipes on the internet and in cook books that use vinegar and water for good meals. This will first start you off with vinegar cooking aroma in the kitchen. Disinfectant sprays such as spring fresh scents help with the odor of vinegar left behind.

Cook for about a week with vinegar and eat the food as well. After cooking use this cleaning plan for the kitchen.

For cleaning simply buy a sixteen ounce spray bottle made for cleaning. It does not have to be expensive. Fill half of the bottle with distilled or regular tap water and half with white vinegar from the grocery store. White distilled and organic white distilled vinegar can be used as well.

Distilled water can be made as well by boiling tap water for about ten minutes or until condensation and not evaporation takes place. The purpose of distilled and organic verses regular vinegar and water is for harshness.

The harsher substance is the distilled vinegar with the distilled water. Organic is a little subtler. Harsher substances may cause more of a problem with dirt and insects at first. However, if used just to wipe down and lightly scrub every day for about two weeks the problem will lessen. You will only have to cook with vinegar for about a week.

It is best to experiment after using store bought distilled vinegar and store bought distilled water. Use the half part water and half part vinegar in your cleaning spray bottle that is just set aside for only the use of cleaning with vinegar and water.

It is best to clean the freshly swept and not yet mopped floor with a bowl of luke warm water and vinegar and mop or rag after cleaning the kitchen after the meal. A rag is the strongest suggestion. Cold water should be used for counter tops and stove tops.

It is best to clean all corners, window ledges, counter tops, garbage cans and any other places insects can seep in. Insect holes should be heavily sprayed and then air dried with even a hair dryer if other appliances are not available. Regular water and plain white vinegar can be used less often after used in this manner.

Most people do not enjoy the smell of vinegar and water. Again spring fresh disinfectant such as Lysol and Pinesol Cleaner after the first cleaning with vinegar once or twice a week usually makes a good fresh scent. Open doors windows, use fans, or other ventilation through the process. It is best to use Pinesol in hot water with two thirds Pinesol and the rest tap water. I do not suggest distilled water with Pinesol. The distilled water will dilute the Pinesol too much. However, once Pinesol gets too strong in the house use the distilled water just fine in the same concentrated solution.

Using white vinegar and water in kitchens is best for getting out insects that cause a mess that is not realized. Those insects get in food and contaminate the kitchen in many ways. It is best to enjoy the result with candles afterward so the hard work is appreciated. White vinegar and water is the perfect solution to a more relaxing and cleaner kitchen.
