Temporary Apt. Remodel. Can You Cover A Boring Beige Kitchen Counter-top With A Modern Removable Surface?

I live in an affordable apartment, but I hate the outdated look of the kitchen counter-tops. I would like to find a way to give them a totaly updated granite look without damaging the property. Is there a cover of some type or a material that is removable?

yes you can cover it with a overlay, but no you cannot take it back off. sorry.
Granite floor tiles. Place felt padding underneath to protect the original countertop, and place the granite tile ontop. The weight of the tile will hold the tiles in place.
