Simple Kitchen Cabinets Refacing?

hi, thanks so much for volunteering! My uncle have a couple of condos I’m going to be selling. The kitchens are pretty dated. One has very simple cabinets with just flat, plywood doors that I’ve painted in the past. The other has what I think are probably veneer covered cabinets. Can these both be refaced? And is it worth it? Any idea of the cost for a small kitchen? I’d really rather not replace all the cabinets, but I don’t want it to look like junk either, just to save money. Thanks!

The kitchen can make or break the deal. You have the choice…accept a considerably less offer to understand the kitchen needs to be replaced…or spend the money to help it sell and create a really nice kitchen for an expectant buyer. A generic kithen can cost from $6k to $8k on the simple side. $12k to $18k if you want it to really catch the eye and bring top dollar. The other issue…time. It takes 4 weeks if all goes well (it never does) to complete a kitchen remodel. If you dont have the time…cut your price and save the time and hassle of the remodel.
