What Kitchen Cabinet Finish Is Best For A Small Kitchen?

I have a moderately small kitchen and i want to reface the cabinets. I was thinking white would look best so it would make the kitchen look bigger, but i really want to do a cherry/oak finish. Would that make the room look too small, and is it out of style to have white cabinets? 10pts for best answer! Thx ![]()

Well small doesnt mean you have to go white, if your going with a dark appliance then go with a light to medium stain or paint color, if your going with stainless appliances go take the daring look of darker cabinets, and if you have white appliances then white, whitewash, light color stain or light color paints work very well. also bring color in the kitchen with your back splash. Since your kitchen is small, splurge on the tile of the back splash with a nice mosaic or glass tile, it will bring a demension to your kitchen that you didnt think was possible. Hope this helps. does not have to be white but something light like oak or maple
