Does anyone know how I could seal a stained hardwood kitchen floor to protect it from water, high traffic and scratching?
Are there any products that are clear but strong that I can put over the hardwood to protect it?
I took up the linoleum flooring in my kitchen and found a very pretty hardwood floor underneath.
My kitchen is a high traffic area in my house and where my dog sleeps at night which he has long nails.

My home was built in 1867 and has harwood floors throughout. I have begun sanding my kitchen floor and would like to know what specific product (brand & type) would be a good sealer/ polyuerothane to use when I’m finished. I will be keeping it natural without a stain.
